Clark Counseling Solutions – Individual, Couples, Family, & Group Counseling
Everyone reaches a point in their life when they could benefit from seeking support. Whether you have a specific goal in mind, are simply feeling overwhelmed, or find that a particular part of your life is just not working the way you would like it to, a professional counselor can help you get back on track. Some of the most common issues we encounter are depression, anxiety, ADHD, grief, physical or emotional trauma, mood disorders, relationship problems, conflicts with school/work, eating disorders, smoking cessation,
and stress management.
Couples Counseling is often viewed as a last resort for couples who are having difficulties in their relationship. Although it is effective in those situations, counseling can be utilized at any point of a relationship to improve communication, learn new coping skills, or work through any potential
problems that arise.
Family Therapy can be beneficial in a variety of situations. Many parents find that they do not have the kind of relationship with their children/teens that they would like. People find that their parenting strategies may not be working, both parents are not on the same page, a child/teen may be struggling in school or getting in trouble, the family may need support while going through a separation or divorce, or a challenging transition may have impacted the family unit. Whatever the particular issues may be, we are here to help.
Many people find that group counseling provides the kind of support that they are looking for. Having a small group of people who are experiencing similar challenges, in addition to a qualified group facilitator, allows the participants to benefit from multiple perspectives and insights. Groups can be primarily educational or therapeutic. Some of the group topics include stress management, healthy living, parenting skills, grief, chronic illness, vision loss, disability, and depression.
Vision Rehabilitation Services
Counseling, Psychoeducation, and training are provided for individuals, and the families of those individuals, who are visually impaired or blind. This may include but is not limited to adjustment to
vision loss, coping skills, career counseling, and training in a variety of areas.
